Recommend for everyone. Honestly, it's a beautiful old and enchanting place to visit. The staff are excellent friendly as well as the host. The breakfast is incredible and great, and the location is excellent near to the center of town where there are restaurants and a grocery store as well as Thurso town centre and ferry.

The room with lovely bathroom.

A good old hotel with outstandingly accommodating stuff. Family room with the lovely home-cooked breakfast, comfy beds, as example. The location incredible and particularly good close to seaside. Also - right by the beach and the main pathway around the bay, ferry terminal and the center of town where there are restaurants.

Victorian hotel in a residential area near to good pubs and restaurants. A lot of fantastic and plentiful breakfast options. Pleasantly decorated, modern room with a fully equipped bathroom and a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets.

The hotel with generous-sized rooms, in a very quite area, close to center. They provided good service.

Wonderful old and exceptionally comfortable hotel with astonishing view of the beach. Lovely bedroom. Attentive staff and incredible and plentiful breakfast with lots of options. Residential location to meet me from the ferry. And just off restaurants and Thurso, Orkney, and the Northern Highlands and town centre and beach.

The location of the hotel was convenient - just a short stroll away from Thurso Bay. The staff were very helpful and attentive and assisted with free parking. I loved the breakfast with a wide array of coffee and cereals.

Our breakfasts were plentiful and satisfactory with locally sourced goods. The location was particularly good and lovely for traveling around Thurso, just next door to the center of town where there are restaurants and a grocery store, shops and restaurants and Thurso town centre. The staff were efficient and really friendly too.

Such an outstanding stay for 2 nights. Victorian hotel with delightfully helpful and very efficient staff and astonishing views of the beach. A nice size and fully-equipped room with comfortable bed, coffee and a couch. Lovely building, lovely bedroom. Historic location adjacent to the centre of the town as well as Thurso, good food. Also, easy to get to Thurso Library & Gallery...

The staff was amicable & competent. The hotel was in a residential location to meet me from the ferry. What's more, it was very close to a grocery store, beach walks, coast line walks and access to the town and amenities and western & northern Scotland.

Absolutely fantastic and plentiful breakfast selection with vegan options and juices, for example.

Wi-Fi was very poor.

The staff are amazingly friendly and extremely friendly and offer wake up calls and ironing free of charge. The room is well-appointed with marvellous views of the beach. The bed is good, slept really good.

Everything was spot on.

Upon arrival, we were pleased to find that our double room with a large bed was prepared and waiting for us.
